Europe: A Preview

So with less than a week to go until I leave for Africa me and Matt still had a ton of planning for Europe to do. So we spent our day yesterday finishing up details for our trip and we are officially set for backpacking through Europe! Here is an overview of our Europe itinerary...

April 14-16: London- staying in a hotel right by hyde park, not there for very long before we take off for Belgium. I dont arrive until the 15th Matt gets in on the 14th

April 16-18: Belgium-Bruges staying at the Snuffel back packer hostel (bar included!)

April 18-21: 2 person camper in Downtown Amsterdam- I know its awesome. So glad I found out about airbnb- a website that allows people to post open rentals in cities all over the world. Was way cheaper for us to do this listing then staying in a hostel (and way more unique)

April 21: Overnight train to Munich

April 22-24: Wombats city hostel in Munich

April 25-28: Back to London to hang out with Andrew!

April 28: Fly home

27 days and counting... Packing

With less then 30 days until I leave I have been working on what to pack for my two month adventure. The fact is I will be in multiple climates from beaches, rain, cold temperatures, and hot temperatures. I am dealing with cultural restrictions and I have to keep in mind that all of the things I will need have to fit in my backpack.

Culture: In Arusha skirts and shorts should not come above the knee, shoulders and chest should be kept covered for women.
